New Keyboard

Well guys, my WONDERFUL first gen G15 gave out on me. The LCD screen has stopped working and the LEDs are flickering. Now, i need to buy a new keyboard. Im not sure exactly which ones are the best. I have looked at the neww G15 but i dont like how it looks, the LCD is tiny and it just doesnt appeal to me like the original did. My friend has a Razer Lycosa or whatever and i think its pretty cool. but what do you guys think...

Bummer on the G15. I have mine right here and it's been goin' strong for over a year now. One of my friends got the new G15, and he absolutely loves it, but then at this point I guess it's subjective. I have read good things about the Razer keyboards as well.

i have the new one but i would prefer the old one

if i could find the link there is a 400$ keyboard that you can program each key to what you want and actually change a small pic or letter on each key they are all little LCD's

looks pretty sick

I have the lycosa and like it now that I'm used to it. It's really small lol. I have a microsoft reclusa and that's nice too, and it's a little cheaper. The only real problem I have with the lycosa is that the LED's are too dim. The reclusa doesn't have that problem.

I have a default hp keyboard ^^ hehe but hmmm...the lycosa i heard was pretty good, not too many people had problems and the people who did have problems had minor ones...so...well just depends on what you like...how much you want to spend...and what you're used to...

My only complaint with it is that the Enter, Shift, and Ctrl keys on the right side don't line up. I'm an arrow key guy (instead of WASD), and rely on being able to easily reach those keys with my pinky. Still, it looks pretty sweet and I'd probably get one if I ever won the lottery.

Man, I dunno about everyone else.

But I wish there was an ergo gaming keyboard. I'd pay top dollar for that.

I've got to type so many ads on Craigslist....but want to game also.

Actually it only comes with 4 programmable keys. xD The one where they're all programmable costs like $1600+

Saitek's are always nice though. :O

Steelseries' Steelkeys is a great keyboard also, but expensive at $100

Morbid see Respawn's reply, the Optimus is only around $450 right on on their website. Munch I would recommend hitting up amazon for a Gen 1 G15. You can still get them brand new in box.
