Ok so I finally got my new setup going (for the most part). I recently got a winning bid on a GTX 670 FTW edition, so waiting for that to come in the mail. In the mean time, I would like help understanding this setup utility. I just learned that the motherboard automatically setup the SATA mode to AHCI, which im happy about. However hard drive smart is disabled (of course I dont have a hard drive installed yet). Will installing a separate hard drive switch this to enabled or do I have to manually adjust that?
One last thing: I noticed in the setup that the memory is rated at DDR3 1333, even though the motherboard reads it as DDR3 1600. Do I need to update the bios in order to get it to read the rating properly?
Like usual, any/all help is greatly appreciated. I am a little behind the curb on this technology, so do have patience with me. I try to stay with the times as much as possible, but as we all know technology is always growing into bigger & better things.
