hey guys im looking for a nice new keyboard i dont really know what to get though i hear allot about the logitech g15 and g11 and the razer tarantula but idk what to get and are those little lcd screens on keyboards for anything usefull?? what do they do anyway if any of you guys have any recomendations please reply to this and if possible i kind of have a blue theme going on with my computer stuff so if it had a blue backlight or somthing that would be nice but if i cant o well i would rather have a really nice keyboard soooooo please post replys guy ....thanks
 
I have a Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboard. It is sensitive enough, has all sorts of function keys, and is relatively inexpensive.
 
i've had my G15 for about two years and i love it. its pretty much everything i've ever wanted in a keyboard. i use every feature including the lcd screen. It interfaces with ventrilo, xfire, a media player of your choice and also has clock, timer, cpu monitoring functions. The programmable keys are great for setting up macros for games or just for launching programs. I'd recommend the gen I version if you can find it on amazon or someplace. there are more keys and the lcd is easier to read. the only bad things about the g15 is that its footprint is a bit larger than others and the small flip out legs are not fist resistant, i have a bad habit of banging on the keyboard with my fists when i'm frustrated/angry.
 
I like my G15. I have had it for about a year now, I think, and I never had any problems with it other than the fact that the USB ports within the keyboard are not USB 2.0, but I only use it for my wireless mouse receiver anyways.
 
I like the G15. The keys feel nice, and they're backlit which looks awesome at night or in the dark. I haven't found much use for the G keys, though.
