This is the basic outline.
Everyone interested will be invited. I only want a few people helping teach or we'll end up with 7 people saying the same thing again. This isn't story-time. Whoever is teaching will be in a chat together to avoid talking over each other. It seemed to work well the last time while we were in vent. Everyone else can be muted.
We'll meet on Ventrillo at 10:30pm EST. A server lockdown from 10:45 to 11:45 would be appreciated.
I want everyone's tag in their comment so we know who we're dealing with.
For starters, e's. We'll be discussing how to use admin chat and how they should or shouldn't be admining. We'll also quickly go over ban requesting. After that the e's can leave or just stick around quietly.
eGO's are next. Basically, we'll be explaining their position on the servers. They're in charge but need to be in an advisory position when there are eG's present. Again, this is very straightforward simple stuff.
It should be close to 10:45 now so depending on how many eG's show up we'll start sending them into the servers. Either I or one of the other teachers will start off explaining console and set up their 2, and only 2, binds. We'll test run the binds and whenever someone is finished I want them kicked so everyone has a chance to actually use one of the commands. Try to keep them using the admin chat functions so they get in the habit of it. Other than that, between ventrillo and the server we can run them through scenarios. As in names, language, spamming, attitude, disrespect. I plan to be on the server and let someone else continue on ventrillo since the eGOs there are probably more interested in having their questions answered. It'll also give the e's that are still there a chance to speak. I'll try not to be over the top on the server. My stringing 13 racial slurs in a row isn't really necessary to get the point across. But names like F[_]ck1ng.. seem to be less obvious to some people. We'll probably end up going over the language issue again since it's very confusing for some of our admins, but I'd like to stay away from it and the hundreds of stories people have about back in the day when they banned someone.
