what program do you guys suggest to test my RAM?

Yup, memtest is a good one. You can find it here: http://www.memtest.org/

Download the ISO, burn it to a disc, and boot the disc. Memtest will go through a very exhaustive set of tests that will reveal any problems- you'll know if there are failures if you see a bunch of red entries pop up on the screen.
