If you are going to say its unfair play to shoot air-burst or mortars from and to an uncap the the Ebots are the apitamy of unfair play. There is noway to kill the users he/she has almost instant regeneration of the ebots. the one who use then go 90 and 0 crazy numbers of kill to death ratio. You have no idea they are attacking you unless you actually see it. they are for open maps not Operation Locker.

Make it fair and Ebots are not fair play on Operation Locker that is a fact.

if we start doing that people start requesting other things so I don't think that will happen its part of the game :)

Agreed with Alex on this. Honestly, in my point of view I think it is a bit more challenging to kill with an EOD bot than it is to kill with an airburst or mortar. Any explosives or enemy (including enemy devices) are forbidden to enter enemy spawn from my knowledge. If you can actually sneak in an EOD bot and take out a whole squad or two, kudos to you.

While this ^ would still be against the rules, it is just not a wide enough problem. It's not like there are 20 or so players from a team consistently raiding the other team's spawn with EOD bots all day every day for every single round. Besides, to my knowledge, we have never had weapon restrictions other than an experimental No Explosives Locker/Metro before.

Sad I wasn't around to see the No Explosives server.....

EOD bots don't bother me too much except the one's they try to drive into spawn, and the ppl who "team grieve" with them (i.e. pushing team mates down the tunnels into enemy fire.)

So are Mortars and airburst a part of the Game but they are banned so your argument hold no weight as far as part of the game goes. Why cant member ask for things?? isnt that what membership is about too discussing things.changing things as they become apparent. using ebots in this map is clearly an unfair advantage, far worse then mortaring into or out of uncaps.

I could take time to list all the obnoxious equipment that shouldn't be in the game but exist anyway I would still miss a few. Needless to say, the impact of everything I could list is varied. Were I to make that list I would put creative sneaking of low power tickle bots at the bottom of the list of things to be banned.

Hello Stan,

As of right now players are not allowed to use UCAV's,SUAV's, and Mortars from Uncaps since there is no way to kill the equipment or player. The same goes that those cannot be fired into the uncaps as well. As far as EOD bots i think our only ruling was that they cannot be driven into the uncaps but since operators use them outside of the uncap that they can be destroyed. We will review the rules again and let you know.

I was just talking about the general map. I wasn't regarding my statement towards the EOD bot into spawn. That I understand is against the rules.

Hello Everyone,

The ruling is that EOD is a piece of equipment that is allowed to be used by anyone on the map. The rules regarding the EOD bot is that it cannot be used to attack an enemy uncap. The EOD bot can be used by the player from the uncap since it is a driven vehicle that is used on the field of play that can be destroyed. The EOD bot can be destroyed like other vehicles with explosives or machine gun fire. Equipment that cannot be used from the uncaps however are the MAV's, SUAV, and Mortars as these pieces of equipment cannot be killed in the uncaps.
