So I have a Norwegian friend that ive been friends with for id say about a year now. I decided that it would be a great idea to do a gift exchange. By the way, my friend is a woman and she already sent me a few things from her country. Now it is my turn. I already have chocolate from here (Hersheys & Ghirardelli) & some hispanic candy as well. Now I need more ideas. I need something small that can fit in a box less than the size of a video card box. Also needs to be less than $5. Doesnt have to be food, as I want my friend to be able to cherish it for years to come and show her friends over there.

Get her some fridge magnets. Every time someone in the family goes somewhere we always buy fridge magnets with the location we traveled. We have a ton of them from various locations. The latest we got was from my sister when visiting Sydney. She'll cherish them for years to come

Among the souvenir-ey stuff other people are suggesting, I'd add that keychains are always a good option. She can put them virtually anywhere she'd like, and it would be a nice conversation starter amongst her friends, if it was always around, I suppose.
