What's with the server?

I usually play on the 24/7 Dustbowl server and for me, it's lagging like crazy. Yesterday I played on it and was fine, perfect to say the least. Now it's so laggy everyone moves 5 meet for each frame. It's not me, I made sure nothing was downloading, I got 100% of my networking power, no big background processes and I work perfectly on other servers. I even set all me setting to low...and nothing!

I hate ping so much, mine it's absolutely schitzophrenic and it makes me so angry because it does it for NO reason whatsoever.

im with you sometimes the servers are great the next im lagging so badly it not even funny i just reconnect to another server

I seemed to get this, too.

Go to your Steam settings, click the Downloads tab, and make sure that it's not set really low.

Mine was at 56k and once I bumped it back up, everything started working great again.

Oh wow, mine was also at 56K, but now it's at 2M. I'll test it out later, thanks!
