I want to record myself playing a few video games on my TV. I have an 8800GTS, but I'm not entirely sure how to do it. I looked at TV tuners, but the problem is that I don't want to record tv shows via cable or whatever, but I want to record whatever's happening on my tv specifically. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Unless the 8800GTS has video input (which I don't think it does), you will need to get either an internal or external video capture card (some more info here: http://dvr.about.com/od/capturetvwithacomputer/bb/bybcc.htm ). Unless your TV has video output (which I doubt it does), the easiest way to do it will be to hook your game console up directly to the video capture card (meaning you'll be playing the game looking at your computer monitor instead of the TV). The important thing to keep in mind is that the video input connection on the capture card needs to match the connector type for your game console.
