so i was wondering if anybody would be albe/willing to maybe coach me a bit? i love csgo and truly want to get better and i know from the past that im coachable. i just dont seem to be getting much better on my own

I'm global elite and have 1,500 hours in CSGO.

Here are a few tips that I used to improve my gameplay and get better.

1. Practice Practice Practice
https://fragshack.esea.net/index.php?s=servers

Find the sensitivity settings that you're most comfortable with, most people use 400-500DPI and 1.3-3.5 ingame sense.

Then hop on FFA Deathmatch and seriously aim to get 200-300 kills. Just practice crosshair placement, flicking, spraying and spray control, tapping, etc. Always aim for the head and try to frag out as hard as you can.

Honestly, I have tons of friends who are complete idiots in this game yet are ranked LEM/SMFC solo based on their aim.

I personally try to DM at least 2 map cycles a day, which is around 40-45 minutes of just straight FFA DM to keep my aim and spray control down.

2. Just keep playing

Honestly though, the only way you're going to get better is by playing. Everyone has room to improve, and you're only going to get better by playing. If you feel like you're plateauing, take a break.

Don't touch the game for a day or two, or a week, and then come back. It's all mental. Secondly, if you're putting in the hours and you're trying to actually improve, take a couple of minutes, and go over a couple of your demos. Understand why you died, how you could position yourself better in that situation, what you did wrong, so in the future you can play better.

This is why people watch pro demos. It's to get a second perspective and understand how their game sense works, and try to apply that to your own game.

3. Luck

The shitty part about CS:Joe though is that this game is a lot more random than previous iterations of CS. Sometimes, there's nothing you can do when you're getting jumping p90'd or jumping m4'd , etc. Sometimes your sprays won't hit, sometimes your nades will leave them with 1 HP and you get 1 tapped instead. Sometimes, it seems like no matter what you do, you're always on the receiving end of the frag.
Your best bet is to just keep your chin up and keep on pugging and keep on trying to improve.

Aim for the head, and keep your cool, and you'll find the frags.

ill certainly keep that im mind and i do practice from time to time and hop in DM as well. i talked to Chewyy and hes gonna help me out tonight with some more basic stuff

well you see..the best way to kill chickens in cs:go is....

the world may never know!

DM is a great way to warm up, and make sure you have an amazing headset. Being able to hear footsteps/sounds and actually know where they are coming from is a huge advantage.

Pretty much what matty said, deathmatch to practice your aim/spray, and just keep playing, the best way to improve is to actually play the game. Watch demos, both yours and others. But don't just watch them for entertainment, watch them to see what you did wrong, or to see what you did right, and either fix or replicate those things.

There are a lot of youtube channels that will help you improve your game, I'll list a few here..

TheWarOwl
TheWarOwl is great for beginners, his videos will explain most aspects of the game better than most other channels. His videos are great for beginners like yourself, and you should definitely watch them.

vooCSGO
Voo creates more advanced tutorials than TheWarOwl, but you will still grasp many concepts that will help improve your game.

BananaGaming
BananaGaming is a channel that has a lot of unique tutorials. You will find videos on this channel that not many other channels will have, and their explanations are great.

If you have any inquiries or if you want some more help with improving then feel free to add me here.
