Tech Help Screen Capture with Mantle

I want to screen capture video on BF4 using Mantle. Anyone know of a program that is compatible?

Mantle? Do you have an AMD GPU? If you have an AMD GPU you can use Catalyst, Should be bundled in with your GPU software.

If you have a Nvidia GPU you can use Shadowplay which is bundled in with Nvidia software.

They will will be the least resource intensive on anyone's system but the quality is not the best.

3rd party option you could use is OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) A bit complicated to set up right, but will have the best quality but will be more intensive on your computer.

I have an AMD 7970 HD. Where in the catalyst control center is the screen capture?

To record using Mantal you need to uninstall the amd gaming evolve app then install a new driver and the new AMD Gaming Evolve Client that come bundled in with the installer for Catalyst.

Then the recording program should be in AMD Gaming Evolved Client (raptr) software. In that you should be able to find the DVR tab so you can set up your record keybindings and file location for your videos.

Personally never used it but it seems the DVR is bundled with the Raptr software.

My only has the plays.tv which I already tried it and couldnt make it work.


EDIT: it would appear that I am able to use the plays.tv with DX11, but I really wanted to use mantle. I'll just have to live with it I guess. Thanks for the help chocolate.

Hmm, I thought when the new drives came out that you could record in Mantle.

Well you can record with Mantle with OBS it seems, you need need to do a bit of work but it seems to work.
