TF2 settings help (2 things)

Hi, I need some clarification with two different things...

The first, I set my audio to "headphones" in the settings, but every time I start the game it goes to "5.1 Sound". I like the "headphone" since.. obviously they are more suited for the headphones.

The other is for TF2 Screenshots. I've seen vague information on how to setup F5 to take JPG images instead of TGA. What is the command for this? And how do you also set the quality?

I'm not sure about the headphone issue, now that you mention it, I think mine always changes back too, though it might be because I have both speakers and headphones attached. I have both front and back audio jacks on my PC. If you have multiple audio jacks like that you might want to try switching up how things are plugged in and see if it changes anything.

As for the screenshot question, I think you can bind a key to the command "jpeg". So in the console you would type something like: bind f5 jpeg , or it might be: bind f5 +jpeg. I think you can adjust the compression/quality by using the command jpeg_quality x where "x" would be a number. Also, if you are looking for a nice program to view images (tga included), Ifranview is a good free image viewer. http://www.irfanview.net/
