Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ESPN Officially Covers eSports

Hey guys! Huge news, and that is ESPN is officially endorsing eSports. While right now this mainly includes the title of League of Legends and DOTA, CSGO is sure to come in the future, as it is one of the largest competitive games to date. I think this is an awesome move for eSports and am curious as to what everyone's thoughts are. What do you think of ESPN officially covering eSports?

From my understanding, TBS will be airing matches starting later in the year so it could potentially be exclusive to them.

I've seen the "Are VideoGames really a sport?" debate around for a long time. This is some real recognition and if eGO can get their stuff together this can be really awesome for us. Hopefully they claim CoD and you'll see me in the big leagues

did espn president step down? i remember that after airing the dota 2 international that made him more money than just about everything but the superbowl, he said " i dont believe games are sports and we will not air them anymore". correct me if im wrong, probably using dated information
