Anime Summer Anime 2016

Just returned from the dark place known as Reddit and as it turns out, after all my whining, Studio WIT has confirmed Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2 for March of 2017!!!!!! And the reveal poster looks sick as hell.

Well that is definitely some good confirmation.

However, I'm not sure what you've been looking at this season so far, but I highly suggest ReLIFE. I've suggested it to so many people by now they are probably sick of me saying it. But it really was a fantastic series. They aired all 13 episodes at once a few days ago and I finally got around to do a marathon Tuesday morning before work. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it that much, or at all even based on the premise, but I was really blown away with how beautiful it all was. AND THE VOICE ACTING. The voice acting was outstanding!:thumbup:

I just finished watching God Eater, I enjoyed it for the most part. But I've spent most of this season re-watching anime, mostly some of the good old stuff, Uchuu Senkan Yamato has to be my favorite anime of all time. The 2199 remake was pretty awesome too. Also, I didn't notice till a few days ago, but they're making Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202, the remake of the 1978 sequel to the original series :w00t:

I don't blame you for using the season as a rewatch. Both this and last have been pretty weak overall. Next season, with what has been slated so far, doesn't look too promising, but better than what we have been getting. Also maybe Savanna Game will actually air! But I lost hope in that over a year ago.

I would like to know about any anime shows that are about the main character hiding their true power, someone that is very powerful but does not know it, or anything along those lines, or where they teleport to another world or something, mainly fantasy, superpower, magic and whatnot.

A few that I have seen are Sword Art Online x2, The Irregular At Magic Highschool x4, Blue Exorcist x2, Charlotte x2, Parasite x2, Guilty Crown x2.

I know that I have seen others but those are the ones that I have remember off the top of my head.

Thanks

I need to start watching all of Re-Life. I will say I was happily surprised to see a new episode for Sound! Euphonium. It was a good episode.

And I'm going to say it now; I have a feeling that New Game! will be like Shirobako to me. At least, that's what I am hoping...

Try these:
FLCL
Rurouni Kenshin (like 100 episodes, older anime, but a true classic)
Cowboy Bebop
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka
Hai to Gensou no Grimgar
Hataraku Maou-sama!
Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri
Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?
Log Horizon
Blood Lad

Most of these are recent in the past 3-5 years or so. I listed a few older ones at the top, but based on what you have seen you may like some of the more modern shows over the older ones. But who knows, let me know what you think!

So far the season has been alright. I already know what I'm going to drop after 3 episodes =/
