Well, if you were planning on getting an RX480 - you may want to reconsider. I personally haven't changed my mind about crossfiring 2 RX480's, but if you're on a budget, $50-$75 more gets you a slightly better GPU if every single frame matters to you. Just thought I'd post this for those of you waiting for the RX480 but they're all out of stock atm. Here are some benchmarks from LinusTechTips

What if you throw in a Free Sync monitor? Does that help the 480?

It won't help increase FPS but will help keep the image more fluid/less tearing aka choppiness.

Driver maturate is what will help with the FPS, but don't expect huge gains from that.

NVidia has a better rep when it comes to drivers and software. I haven't had an AMD card in a very long time, but the last time I owned one the Catalyst suite was very buggy and drivers never worked lol.

I have a freesync MG279Q monitor running with both my 970s and still don't notice any tearing. I'll be saving for a G-Sync monitor here shortly and see if there's any noticeable difference.
