Zone Alarm Question

Alright, I've been using zone alarm for awhile... and every once and awhile after I torrent something, I will get a bunch of blocked IP address trying to access one of my ports. I know it's not people trying to download my torrent because as soon as it's done, I delete the torrent from my pc so I can't share it.

So I'm just wondering if it's a worm or a tunneler trying to access my pc? All of the address trying to access my pc are from Class A and Class B networks... but if it's a worm or whatever I know it is most likely a spoofed address.

I also thing it might be an attempt of just being hit with a bunch of pings, because it really bogs down my net. This is the 2nd time this has happened, and the first time, the only way I could get it to stop was to shut down my pc for a couple of hours... which I don't want to do since i want to play tf2.

So far ZA has blocked 831 attempts from this download and it's still counting.... I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what this could be, and how I can solve it.. other then not torrenting .

first off, is it always the same IP address?

and second... you'd be surprised how effective a Google search for an IP address is

Also what ports in specific do you get hit on? When you talk about calss A or B addresses, you are talking about LAN addresses.

The IP address changes with every hit. The port number is 17484. Which ya i had a brain fart, idk why i said it was a class a and class b... had a long day today.. and i come home to this lol.

What's your network setup, ie router, network, etc? It might be a good idea to enable NAT redirection if it's disabled, as any icmp attacks can be easily avoided that way.
