Help Digital drawing

What is the best way to digital draw? I have multiple drawing programs such as Adobe, gimp, and paint tool sai, but don't know what the best way to draw is as the mouse just is too choppy. No matter what type of tool you give can you give recommendations on what type you think is the best? I heard the companion Wacom tablet is good, but I don't have that much money to drop as I'm not good enough to justify saving up.

Get one of those drawing pads that go beside your mouse and you use a pen to draw with it

In my opinion, it's photoshop cc and a Wacom tablet. While you can get some decent results using a mouse and a program that smooths out your lines as you draw them, there will be a point where you feel like your skills have improved enough to justify buying one, and those mouse-drawing skills you've accumulated will be for naught if that were to happen.

The free option is probably 3D drawing and sculpting in Blender, but I realize that isn't the answer you wanted.

Thanks for the feedback, this answer is what I was looking for actually. With the iPad Pro, the Microsoft tablet things, and all of the Wacom tablets I wasn't sure which would be my best choice. The companion is too far out of my price range but I have seen some decent Wacom tablets that are cheaper.

I can agree with Wacom products. I've owned one for a few years and I don't regret the purchase.
