I remember when games used to ask for a 56kbps connection haha.

I was playing the beta with an R7 370 8GB Ram and an FX 6300 and it ran smoothly and looked great, for those who don't meet the specs above.

A GTX 1060 recommended? They do realise we don't ALL have the budgets available to meet these ridiculous recommendations? Right? Slow down on the advancement in the industry and let the consumer catch up...

I ran it fine with my 1st gen I7 920 "my back up rig till I get my main machine back up and running" and a GTX 980, about 100 FPS on ultra. It should run better on my main machine and it's just a 2500K but much faster than this old 920.

GTX 960 and a core i5-4590 and I was running around 200 fps and smooth, what will keep me from buying the game tho is the no dedicated servers, I truly wish BF would stop CODifying their stuff, I left COD because of their crap....now my fav game goes to emulate them...heart broken to say the least

Let's hope they change their mind about this, and take a look at their communities feedback

I dont think you will see a change here , any deals with server providers are probably already in place/under contract . The way it's looking is server providers will supply dice with the servers and you will rent a limited control's server directly from dice/ea , thus turning the game into a pc hackfest like cod. It looks like we have been turned into the test platform for console , not looking good at the moment for bf1 :(

It wasn't a hackfest before? I saw a good dozen people get FF banned, some on the initial day of the beta release, telling the players that hacks were developed BEFORE the game release.

All fps games are a hackfest , having the ability to put a stop to it on the spot and having one run wild in a server for hours or days unchecked because of the inability to admin is what will kill a game. Every cod game after cod4 died very fast on pc just for these reasons , sitting in a game lobby for 45 minutes waiting on a game because no one plays anymore is hardly fun.

As for specs my laptop ran it great at high settings. Constant 60FPS (I had VSYNC on so it was probably higher). i7 6700HQ 2.6-3.5GHZ 970M 3GB 16GB DDR4 2133mhz RAM.

As for lack of dedicated servers and no ability to admin our servers, I probably will not get this game now. Though it was fun and sniping was satisfying.

As for servers, this wasnt what the thread was about..

regardless

We dont know whats available for servers, admin tools etc.. and frankly its irresponsible of people to talk in terms of saying we wont have this or wont have that.

Not a single official word has been given on what servers or admin tools will look like at all from any source.

lets try and take the highroad approach to this and wait for actual information to be released instead of making assumptions based on nothing but more assumptions.
