- First things first you need to join the server (lol).
- Once you have joined you need to type in /kit starter /kit Medic /kit vaccine (In this order)
- Now that you have some gear, press m to open up the map. Travel to one of the nearby farms or camps.
- If you run into people please run away because many players are not friendly.
- If you do not run into people loot the place you are at and avoid groups of zombies and confront ones by themselves. Right clicking will use stamina but does more damage. Try to hit headshots.
- Now you should start thinking about joining or creating a group. You don't have to if you prefer going solo but the game is more fun with friends or other eGO members.
- Note: Food and items have a percent on them, this is the durability or quality of the item. Lower is bad and higher is good.
- Regardless of the above step, your next goal is to acquire a new destination and move to a small town or city above your current location. Repeat the looting process from above except this time search for a vehicle and take it if possible.
- Repeat the above until you find a vehicle, make sure you keep getting food and use your cough syrup to heal your radiation(green) bar.
- After obtaining the vehicle you can then repeat the looting processes and move to more dangerous places in the north or settle down and build your home.
- If you move north the brownish-green area is contaminated and will have radiation signs. Do not enter without a 100% gas mask (may need extra filters for mask which are found at fire stations).
- If you decide to settle, find a secluded area and use a melee tool (preferably a chainsaw or axe) and chop down trees to get wood. Press U to and go to the 3rd skill page and upgrade outdoors to speed up this process.
- Press Y to and go to structures page to make the parts of your house. You will need: floors, pillars, wall,s and roofing.
- After building your house you can continue exploring and looting while also starting quests on the ship "LIberator" near your original spawn.
- You may also start the pvp/raiding process that many developed groups do.
