Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on secure servers

i was playing jail and i got kicked for a vac error? i restarted my computer and it still won't let me get on vac secured servers. i read an article https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2117-ILZV-2837 but idk what any of that means. i had no other programs running while playing and would never have any cheat engines on my computer? if this has ever happened to you please tell me how to fix it bc i want to play DDD

verify your game cache;
Open steam -> Library -> find CSGO -> right click -> Properties -> local files -> Verify integrity of game cache
This is what fixed my issue a while back

That happens to me somtimes. Well, not anymore. Before I would just verify my game cache and that worked

Yea, verifying ur game cache would prob be the best solution.
Doesnt seem like there's much info out there.

But as far as the problem goes - as mentioned, Verifiying Game files usually fixes it, or doing the following (also found on the support article):

The error may also indicate a Steam service failure. Please try repairing the Steam service:

Exit Steam.

Click Start > Run (Windows Key + R).

Type the following command:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair

Launch Steam and test the issue again.

Note: This command requires administrator privileges and may take a few minutes. If you have installed Steam to another path, please replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with the correct path.
