Today Angel and Bear got to go out to Petsmart today for the very first time, despite an awful lot of (newly heard) protests over it while driving to Kent. Angel was fascinated by everything he saw in the store, as was Bear to an extent...
You see, the second we turned the corner and entered the toy aisle, he saw something that terrified him to the core... A large bundle of those little flexible plastic sticks with feathers attached to the end all bunched together. He quite literally burrowed into my jacket and attempted to fillet my shoulder in horror.
He eventually calmed down while going through the cans of cat food and even took a second look at the feathers (and picked out a couple of mice with feathers attached to their butts), and then things got ugly.
Those of you who've gone to these types of stores know of the large dog beds they've got, right? Well they found those while walking around on their own (while on a leash obviously). Angel found the lowest one first and took an instant loving to it due to how soft it was, and Bear followed quickly after.
$60. I just bought them a "dog" bed for $60 since they pretty much demanded it for a present...
On the plus side they were pretty quiet on the way home.
