Ranking up

Is there a good way to rank up, its been awhile since i've played and I am really working my arse off to get to 25 so I can get into ranked on pc, any tips or tricks would be appreciated!

Ranking up in comp isn't that hard and really comes down to the fundamentals that almost any competitive game requires. Know the hero you're playing, know the heroes you're playing against, know the map and know how to communicate effectively. Also good to realize that you can't win every game so don't let losses get to you. Some people think they're God's grace to gaming and listening to them whine is agony.

There aren't really many specific things, basically playing in groups, getting medals and winning games are the only specific things which get you anything beyond just the normal time played XP

There's only 2 ways to gain bonus exp and that's the First Win of the Day and playing with a Group(which nets you 20% bonus xp per match.) I'm not really sure whether it's faster to play QP or Arcade, though.

EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot the bonus xp you get for getting a medal.
