How many people plan to buy on Switch?

That depends on what length of time you are thinking, I estimate that by the end of the year there will be at least 10-15 million units sold, with a increase on black friday, and christmas. As for overall, that would be hard to guess. As technology changes, and games get released, the sales will change. It also depends on how long the continue to manufacture the switch, and if they remodel them like other previous consoles.
Also the fact that it is not only a console, but a portable unit, will tap into the hand held market. That will affect the sales, making it harder to give an accurate estimate of "How many people plan to buy on Switch?", not to mention the supply shortage.
Also, i would like to note that the above estimate is the amount of actual sales. In many cases one might "Plan on buying" a switch, but is limited by funds, so even know they plan on buying the Switch, they may never actually do so. So with that being said, I would say that 5-10 million additional people are planning on buying the switch by the end of this fiscal year. That does not include the approximate 10-15 million people who would have already bought it (included in my first estimate of sale).
