I am actually pretty interested in how well they pull this off, I played WoW up until legion and did not enjoy myself nearly as much as vanilla, BC and WoTLK. If this is true classic without raid and dungeon finder I may return because of this. I feel those features killed the sense of community the game once had. Gathering groups used to be a large effort requiring coordination and dedication. The group you had was what you had to use, there was no wipe and find a new group. You wiped until you cleared, explained tactics to use to newer players. Working together to achieve a goal until it was done rather than giving up half way. It may have taken considerably longer to find and gather a group but that was part of the experience and challenge of the game.
