i searched the forum for this already and didn't see it(didn't search all of it so sorry if i missed it) sorry if this has been brought up but..
i unlocked the new Syringe gun today and i went to equip it....i equip it and go back to the game and it is still the original gun i died then it said you have unlocked the w/e gun...i re spawn and i still have the old gun...any one know how to fix this prob...does anyone else have this prob?
 
try it on a non eGO server. From what I heard from other members today, all servers have the unlocks disabled on them. I couldn't access my unlocks today either.

That problem was brought up here and there, everywhere beside forums

That's the server's issues, since on steam forum people have been posting about it, so wait till its fixed

Seemingly, this happens every time a TF2 update is released and the servers aren't updated to match. They aren't "disabled" or anything, it's just an error.

A TF2 patch was released, again, a few hours ago, so I'd imagine the servers will need a patch and reboot to fix the issue.
 
Good thing to know. I had just gotten my Ubersaw last night and I was rather disappointed it did not work on our servers.
 
I was rather surprised that this didn't really seem to bother anyone last night (at least on Goldrush). The server was still full the whole time I was there. This is probably why, even if someone with rcon was aware of the issue, they wouldn't bother to restart the server. I haven't been able to check it out today but I'll be surprised if this issue lasts long. I've also heard rumors that it helps to restart Steam.
 
i tried to equip my kritz yesterday. i already was using ubersaw and the gun for about 5 days. I couldnt put it on, so I tried taking everything off, now i cant use any of them. :(
 
it's a temporary thing, and I'm pretty sure it has to do with updating the servers. Your unlocks aren't gone :D
 
There was discussion of this problem last night during an advisor/council meeting, and if it's not fixed already, it's certainly being worked on.

Not quite sure what you meant by the first part of your post, Iadien, but you're right about the second part. It's an issue that seems to affect servers when updates come out and the server/client versions are not perfectly in sync.
