Ello, my name is Monkey/ibanyou/Olivia. As some have realized I've fallen off the face of the earth the past few days. My mom has been in the hospital, hints the reason for this post. Since I'm at the hospital with her now this post will be kinda short, and I'm just going to copy and paste the description from the go fund me. So here's the situation:
On Tuesday February 6th, 2018, my father took my mother, Jenny, to the emergency room about 7:30am. By 8:45am my dad had called me to wake up my grandmother and let her know that they would be taking my mom into surgery within the next couple of hours. My oldest sister comes home from school, and the three of us head to the hospital. The doctors informed us that she has some sort of infection (still waiting on more information on the type of infection), and that it was eating away at the flesh in her stomach and the tissue was dying inside of her stomach. After doing the first surgery yesterday, she came out feeling a little bit better but this is only the beginning of our long journey. She will be taken in everyday this week in order to clean the incision, and remove anymore dead tissue. The doctors are telling us that she will be in the hospital for at least a week, today is day two. And then after she gets out of the hospital she will be out of work for 6-8 weeks.
My grandmother, who lives with us is on Social Security, I'm currently not employed, my father and sister are working. But with her going into surgery daily, my father has constantly been staying with my mom, and not able to go into work. So the financial strain is going to hit our family hard in the coming weeks.
I'm asking you to consider donating, even if it's just a small amount. Jenny is known for helping others in away possibe, and in all honesty she is my superhero and we love her so much. Can we come together as a community and a family to try to help remove a small amount of stress from my family as this journey continues.
