Goldrush Setup Q

Just a quick question for future reference on the GoldRush servers. In the blue spawn area of the first section, there's a little gated area behind the left side spawn exit where a Sentry Gun/whatever is able to be built.

In the last couple hours I've heard conflicting reports from eGO members, and just wanted to get some clarification on building in this location. The sentry gun is behind the fence, but it is hittable/killable. One eGO member actually put it up himself, but later on another told me it was an unallowed building spot. I'm sorry I don't have a ScreenShot to go with it, but hopefully someone will know what location I mean and can give a definitive answer on building.

I know where you are talking but I don't know if you can destory it or not but if you can't then its an exploit

It can be destroyed -- mine was, I was lagging and frozen so much that I couldn't kill it myself. :/

I know what you are talking about, and it is an exploit. Sure, it can be destroyed, but it isn't supposed to be there.

I believe it would be the ONLY spot in the whole first spawn area that can have something built. So from the Edge Gamers rules that spot, behind that fence, would be offlimits to build. If the developers wanted to allow building inside the spawn/starting area, they wouldnt have made one tiny spot behind a fence the only spot.

So I would have to say no, that is a spot that we do not allow buildings to be placed. And if after being warned and someone continues to do it, they can expect a ban in their future.
