Veteran tag?

I see some profiles with a veteran tag under their avatar. Is that from a supported game or IRL? I ask because I do not see it listed in the awards section

The veteran tag under the avatar is in correlation with the veteran level awards which are in the awards section. These are given based on the level of time and dedication a person has put forth into EdgeGamers and is given by your division leadership. It does not relate to any type of real life service. Those who have real life military or public safety service are eligible for the National Service award, no matter the country.

being a dedicated supporter you can go into your profile and change the "Rookie" to "Veteran" and put what brand you were in "Army veteran" etc.
