Hey all, so my previous gaming monitor just bit the dust (and to be fair, it was used so I knew that day would come eventually). Thankfully my original monitor still works great, but its def far from a gaming monitor. Anyways, Newegg has 2 really decent monitors available & would like feedback on both please:

^Acer 22" 1ms for $100

^Asus 24" 2ms for $95

Based on reviews, the Asus monitor seems to have better overall reviews. However, let me know which you think is better. Also, if you know of another monitor on sale outside of this, im all eyes. As always, I appreciate your time and input.

So, I'm a big ASUS fan boy, but I also have used acers. ASUS is higher in quality, in my opinion. Also, I'm not entirely sure what your budget is, but a 144hz monitor is top tier now. If you can find a deal for one of those, grab it!

I also am on the same boat as Bryan, i am a huge fan of ASUS most of my build consist of mostly asus parts. Deal wise you save the extra 5$ and get 2 more inches. From comparing the two i personally would go for the asus, Just based off of the reliability of the monitor and pure quality.

More screen real estate for a cheaper price for only 1ms higher? Already has VESA mount capability, accepts DVI, HDMI, D-Sub, I think the ASUS is a win.
