So today is the day that my 5 year old computer died.
I've pushed her past her limits by playing pubg, cart racer, and VR games without VR. I've had good times playing with the people of eGO and i'm gonna really miss it, but sadly it is going to be forced to a halt by a shitty i3 integrated graphics factory made Lenovo office desktop. PJSalt
Yesterday my computer started to scream at me from my power supply fan and I noticed a chemical burning kind of smell but nothing was overheating. So I looked inside and everything seemed like it was fine, but it kept happening; so I kept it off throughout the night and school today with my AC on full blast. When I came home today to see if maybe a miracle happened I was sadly mistaken and found out that it was still loud and probably burning somehow inside. But something different happened this time; this time after a couple of minutes it would just restart itself for no apparent reason, like I was on the homepage of google and nothing else. Then it started to do the same thing but within 3 seconds, making it so it basically wouldn't turn on.
Can't believe spitfire lasted longer than me (not that way u bums)
Hopefully I can find a way to either get it fixed or invest in a new computer with the $0 I have; or in the meantime you guys can give me possible diagnostics and fixes to help me out. I still be active-ish on the forums since I have my school laptop and tapatalk on my phone but until then, Happy freekilling. Oh, almost forgot, I also have TS3 on my phone so yeah, that's a thing.
**Update - had computer on and was able to see inside the power supply... saw some flame.. and sparks. So I'm gonna call it a lost cause there. Weirdly enough though I just got a new job today so yeah there's that.**
