As I said on your other post, it was already stated we would not be switching forum software. It would be months and months of programming and a disastrous migration to get there.

I really don't see Xenforo as being easier to navigate. It looks almost too barren IMO and I greatly prefer what we already have.

Xenforo is just myBB on steroids. Why would EGO waste 200$ for a license when they could just try going for a better version of vBulletin or MyBB

Xenforo is a great CMS, but VB is what we use and have used since I can remember. It's not like we can just install Xenforo and poof, all of our 306,501 threads and 2,927,210 posts would magically appear. It would be a database conversion nightmare. What you need to take into consideration when saying EGO wasted $200. It wasn't a waste at all since EGO started in 2006 and when they went to VB, if fit the needs of the community at the time. Xenforo wasn't even in existence back then. So your poll is pointless.

While I perfer xenforo, it's not easy to just switch over. Things would have to be recreated on the new forums, and overall it's just not worth switching at this point. I think the current forums are a-ok!
