Andrew Lincoln leaves The Walking Dead

After 8 years and 8 seasons, lead actor Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) departs from The Walking Dead. His contract has six more episodes left but after that, he is done. I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead and would just like to know what everyone else thinks. To be honest I think it is pretty shitty to drop a major bomb like that. If they would have known it probably would have changed what happened last season and would set up the show without him.

I used to love this show but the last two seasons have been garbage, he's making the right move. The show used to be so great but their writing choices have ruined it.
