Is the surf server shutting down?

The past 3 days I have went to join on separate times and it says kitsune is the map and zero people are playing. I join and my game crashes so idk if there is maintenance right now or if you are no longer hosting the server?

There is maintenance at the moment from what I have gathered. I don't think they would shut it down. A lot of the CS:GO servers have been crashing so I know it's a global issue instead of a surf one.

The latest update to CSGO/Sourcemod has caused a critical issue that's breaking the engine and causing our games to crash. It is something we're looking into but at the moment the issue appears to be out of our hands.

In time we'll be running a check on the server's files to see if they're all there and not corrupted; based on that we'll progress as necessary.
