Particles isnt working

hey u know that particle system? it the system that shows the healing ray, critical glows, and the pyro fire.

for some reason, it barely never shows up.

B3r5erk, we need more information. Did it work before? What did you change in between now and then? The more information you can provide about this, the better able we'll be able to help you.

it worked on the first 3 days, then i toggled the settings (changed everything to low to make it run smoother) and sometimes it shows up...problem is, i tried to go bak to my orginal settings and the particles rarely showed up...hopes that enough 2 help me =[

I'm not completely sure if they changed this or not, but you might wanna go to the console and check your cl_particlefx value. 1=On, 0=Off.

It's an old trick I used to use to get rid of all of the god awful smoke in DoD 1.6 when they introduced the rockets as a class.
