I too have fired a few AT's myself and have plenty of shots that have surprised myself when they have connected.

I am sure a whole lotta luck was involved as Demon was as surprised as I was.

My point of the scenario setup and the post was I was hoping to see a video of it, as Demon promised to post it.

I posted it on reddit. I watched it over and over, trying to figure out how the rocket actually made it down there. Were you still on the VADS when it hit you? I noticed I just got a kill not a vehicle destroy bonus. Anyways I added a little theme music that I thought was fitting. Here it is, as promised https://streamable.com/zevqw

This montage I made was using up my older heavy metal clips, I have several better ones that will be going in a future video. Might include the Rand clip, but I think I prefer it as a standalone video. :biggrin:

Thanks....makes more sense now...a little. I hopped off the vads and was up against the hill. Looks like you were high enough to clear the hilltop. Nice shot.

I was hoping to see the shot you made coming from the Russian base in the Havoc. The one where you were coming over the far right hill, and I was on vads. The vads did it's damage to the Havoc and you bailed, your momentum carried you closer to the map border than the hilltop edge-- far enough to not have a visual for either team. As you were mid-parachute you blindly fired a rocket, curved it over the the hill and a direct hit on the vads which again was out of the line of sight.

A very incredulous shot to be sure.

....ditto here, you know my office is located at any Main AA gun, and had the exact same thing happen to me....... a "wtf" moment
