DICE / EA response sounds about right from them: "Wahhh, we don't make enough money so we can't give you RSP"

While this may be the case in the future, they havent really decided on RSP yet. Articles posted mere hours ago are citing that there is no final decision yet.

That said, is RSP off the table? Not at all. Our teams need to weigh this carefully and either commit fully to the service or not provide it at all - and you need an official statement on what that decision is once it's been made.

Keep in mind, those representing EA on public channels, be it Twitter, Facebokk, and even Reddit have a bunch of PR hoops to jump through when it comes to topics they have not decided upon yet. If anything, if they do allow this, itll be the same as BF1; rent from them with very, very little control.

It is quite unfortunate that they are not committed to this. I think it is rather clear that having community servers are definitely going to retain more players. The last thing they want would be to have no one around to buy their cosmetic items.
