which graphics card would u prefer?

EVGA.
Because of the step-up program they have. Not that I'd touch an nvidia card anyway, I'm an ATI fanboy.

The EVGA one has a slightly higher core clock, but other than that the cards are pretty much the same.
The price is also exactly the same after MIR's... But you can't always be sure about those, I sent one in for something I bought and they didn't accept it, even after we sent in all the proper stuff.

Personally if it was me, I wouldn't get the GTS, I would save myself about $70 bucks and grab one of the new 8800GT. The performance of the GT is damn near identical to the GTS, you honestly prolly couldn't tell the difference. Go check out the video card section at www.tomshardware.com, there is a wealth of information on that site, not just for video cards, but memory and cpu's as well.

I'm an ATI fanboy too, but he didn't ask for an ATI. I had to choose the lesser of two evils.

I agree, but I would get a 9600GT, same performance or better than the 8800GT for the same price or cheaper, and it uses A LOT less power and generates much less heat...plus it overclocks really well too.

EVGA hands down; better support, friendly community, step up program, life time warranty, 24/7 phone support, umm... cooler box.
