CoD4, Punkbuster Help.

I recently got CoD4, and installed it through steam, updated ect. Whenever I joina server, I'm disconnected after a short time and receive this error..

I'm not sure why this is.. It would seem (to my best guess) that my PB didn't update on install. So i went to punkbusters website and attempted to download the manual updater, I placed it inside the CoD4-PB file, and ran the update, it added the HTML PB files, and updated the client ect. However I still receive the error x.x... (And yes, in options - multiplayer, my Punkbuster is turned on to 'yes'), so does anyone know how I can fix this?

Also I'd like to add, I cannot find the eGO CoD4 servers at all, even with messing around with filters ect., I come upw ith about 9800 servers, and cannot find it, I'm told there are 2? And since CoD has no direct IP joining feature, I'm stuck trying to search through a huge list x.x...

Run the punkbuster setup. Once it updates itself, hit Update Games or something like that, and choose COD4 from the dropdown list. It'll update all the info for the game and you'll be good to go.

To join the eGO server, hit the "~" button, and type "connect ip.goes.hereort"

Ah sweet, thanks Have~ I got it worknig, it turned out it was my windows defender blocking the .exe.. lol - - I had gotten so used to it running all the time that I didn't think of that, while I went off trying all these complicated tech fixes lol.. I would like to ask, do you know the IP of the servers? Also, is there a way, like that consol command, to add the eGO servers to my favourites?

You can add it to favourites by exiting the server, switching your search criteria to "Recent" and adding it to favourites like that.

At least I think so.
