GTA V RP - Disable steam identities

I feel like the ability to press down on the keyboard provides too much opportunity for metagaming. For cops it makes it too tempting to claim they "recognize" someone even if they changed clothes. For criminals, it makes it too easy to target specific people without getting to know who everyone is. The only benefit of the steam ID's appearing when you press down is for admin use. I think it should be removed for all non-admins at the very least.

Well yeah its bad due to metagaming but its better than not having anything as reports would be worse to deal with for admins.

atleast its better with having to press down the button compared to (before) just seeing it all the time

I'm saying allow admins to see it, just not non-admins. I'm pretty sure admin logs show if someone killed you.

After our meeting, the GTA LE team decided to deny this suggestion. It would create major issues allowing our Admins to admin easily. Adding this would make it incredibly difficult for admins to identify people who have been reported, so we can't go through with this.
