Please describe the issue in as much detail as possible.

I've been experiencing a clientside crash every time (or near every time) I open console on TTT.

It is 10000000% ONLY happening on TTT.

I am on linux, so IDK if I'll be able to receive support on this, but it is entirely gamebreaking. I mean if I want to check logs, I crash; get online admins/players via console? Crash; execute commands? Crash... It pisses me off.

Console opens and functions normally

Be playing on Ubuntu 18.04 on the TTT server
Open console.

Any extra info we may need to know

The crash is hard to replicate because it isn't guaranteed to happen. I can go entire sessions and not crash from it. But once it starts to happen, it doesn't stop.

I am running an unmodified version of the game, and the game files are verified.

This does NOT happen on any other gamemode. It ONLY happens on TTT.

I am also on ubuntu 18.04, and the console works fine on the TTT server.

Put -condebug in your launch options. This will write a console log file to your game directory. You may be able to get something out of it to see if there's an error before crashing.

Could also be hardware / driver specific, since a user above doesn't have the problem.
