Server Fills

Server Fills, this was a thing in pG, and was beneficial towards server growth.

EC's do events which gather the community together, I'm suggesting that when a server is looking a little dry, we could work as a community to fill [insert server] up. Like when there are events, typically someone will put in all chat that there is a event going on. Except in this case it would be a server fill message for a server.

This would probably apply more to TF2 and CS. With EC or who ever would be willing to coordinate these, I think it would create a lot of fun moments.

I really enjoyed server fills in pG, it brought the community together on a server where it was lacking population wise. It's a small thing we can do, to help a server out, and have fun.

I don't see why not - these can be fun too, gets people onto servers they don't normally play. I'd talk to the EC's directly and I'm sure this would be easy to get going and add to the rotation of events. CS has some fresh EC's who would probably love to do it!

I remember these, and It really gave some love to servers that needed it.
And as Simon said, I am a "fresh EC" and would love to do something like that

All Leadership should host "fast fills". I say Leadership because it's easier for them to do announcements etc, which is basically how it was in pG.

I'm going to improve your reason a bit. Leadership because people are more motivated to join a server that has leadership playing on it.

We've done fast fills a lot in the past all across EGO and when normal people do them, they're not nearly as successful as when leadership does them. Not saying they haven't worked for non-leadership, but generally not as well as leadership's. They are always a great idea though.

(Side note: When I refer to non-leadership as "normal people" I don't mean to say that we're worse than or less than the leadership people are. I mean that I've known a lot of the leadership people for quite a while and they're all really abnormal. Especially that Hydra guy. Super weirdo.)

MS and CS are looking into getting this sort of thing rolling by the sounds of it. Going to move it to completed. Keep an eye out for this kind of activity soon!
