Bug Reports

What application are you reporting this issue on?

MC

Short description of the problem (255 char limit)

Fire spread went crazy

What server are you reporting this issue on?

Minecraft Kingdoms

Please describe the issue in as much detail as possible.

So ive had a fireplace incased in stone brick for a few days now with a live fire in it.
and out of nowhere when i logged on. it started to spread fire outwards, and almost burned down a large portion of one of my builds

What should be happening instead?

while the damages where... tireing to deal with, and the fire was eventually put out. but still frighting thing to happen out of the blue. so would like ask if there's been any changes or modifications to firespread?, and maybe suggest disable firespread on the kingdoms server or within claimed land.

Please describe how to replicate the bug in as much detail as possible

a fireplace minding its own bissness for atleast 48 hours. encased in stone brick. starts to spread fire from the front and outwards out of no where.

Any extra info we may need to know

i like cake :3
(also dident have access to "manage attachments" so have included this image of the indecent, and how it was looking when it was minding its own bissness)

(3. floor, floor, and 4. floor, floor was repair after the fact, so only minor damages can be seen in the image)

Hey Z ZenCrash !

This is highly unusual as no technical changes have been made to the server within the time frame you're referencing. From what I can infer, it seems like the server may have had a buggy moment (perhaps in chunk rendering as you were loading in) and allowed the fire to spread where it shouldn't have.

By any chance are you able to replicate this bug?

Thanks,

every time i try and place fire in the fireplace. it now spread to the rest of my base. the wired thing is i had 2 other fireplace similar.
and i had now problem with them. but for safety concerns (preferably my bade not burning down), ive put out any fire that i may have had.
but like i suggested. it also brought up another interesting topic.
so iam gonna assume that calming land is a greff prevention method. so why does firespred still work within claimed land?
issent that something that shouldent be a thing? or atleast toggel'able?

Talked to in TeamSpeak.

Area around the fireplace was completely protected by stone brick, but fire would still spread sometimes (not all time time, which is super weird). To prevent the mansion from burning down in the future, a region was created encapsulating the build and the fire-spread flag was set to "DENY." Zen was told to inform LE if anything in the region was acting weird in case we need to adjust an unforeseen flag.

Thanks for reporting the bug,
