TF2 the game that just will not die. I like to keep it alive, or you alive, unless I smack you with a crit ubersaw. Then, well, you die.

There's just something about "Team Fortress." It was much the same with the ORIGINAL Team Fortress (ie; the one built on the Quake engine). It came out in the late 90s, and was still being played well in to the 2000s. Once Valve jumped on board and gave us TF2... well. I've been playing it for like 12 years... so... **shrug**

I agree with many of his points. I think TF2's simplicity and easy enjoyment at almost any level of competitiveness or just casual play allows it to keep going. There is just a lot of great love for the game.

Forever will I resent Valve for how things went with community servers, but, they've just gone with the flow and expectations of other games... gone with the days of trying to find a good server and just wanting to jump in and play.

But even now... I have the itch to come back and play more.
