Edge-Gaming Teams

The idea of having a Professional/semi-pro/Amateur League teams housed by Edge-Gaming.

Not sure how i would explain it, but the idea of many division teams being housed by ego, would seem like a fun way to bring out the players that are apart of our community together to play and support the community they enjoy. It doesn't have to be just league of legends but rocket league, i believe they have a csgo team as well but expanding their team list

You're just thinking of the two that came from one user in one day recently. It's not a bad question to have.

Hey F Fondy , I recently talked about this in another thread and I can reiterate the points here as to why both amateur and pro teams have never worked out for us.

Most teams get together for a bit, do maybe a season, then flop. Coordinating schedules, getting reliable people together, and actually winning are all big factors. In the ten years I've been here, I've only really seen one team do "OK" together. They dissolved after 2 seasons.

In terms of being part of the larger tournaments, eGO doesn't really have the cash funds to market a team, tournament entry, etc. All our money goes into our site and servers right now.

What you can do...

If you get a group together and want to run under eGO's name, submit a contact leadership post outlining your plans there. Leadership can take a look and if it's solid, you could likely run under our name.

eGO has always been more of a hangout place to enjoy games with people. Any foray into extremely competitive teams has led to nothing but problems or it just simply not working out. I don't really see us changing this any time soon with so many people having a ton on their plates, and so many people who come and go.

CSGO is full of silvers with like 3 people that are Nova 2.

It would be better to create a faceIt Squad or something like the post above as LE to use eGOs name
