Man, I'm grinding for diamonds, you know how I do and all of a sudden, some random lava puddle comes in and lights you up faster than you can type /back. Your loot/whatever you take into mineworld is toast and your run is ruined.

I understand this is a survival server and it is supposed to have a minimal amount of mods but it's supremely frustrating to lose all of your work because of something random.

I've heard the Ender Chest solution pop up, but that's kinda clunky and inefficient. I don't even mind if I have to pay in game for it, I'll sell my items to get that kind of a feature.

Fortunately for you, I'm not here to roast you, but unfortunately for you, we will be denying this suggestion. Dying to lava while out on a mining trip is central to core Minecraft gameplay and having a separate, protective inventory dedicated for mining in mineworld would seem very out of place on a server we're trying to make as Survival as possible. That said, I'm not gonna leave you hanging, so here's some advice:

1) Don't stand close to what you're mining. Stand as far away as possibly so that even if lava does suddenly appear where you're mining, you have ample time to back off.
2) When mining obsidian, have water flowing so any could-be exposed lava will instantly turn into obsidian.
3) Never dig straight down 4head
