Game Help

Alright when i try to run Portal, TF2, Half-Life 2 Ep. Two, and Half-Life 2 Lost Coast (games from the orange box). It goes through the loading process then it gets to the main menu. Well the game locks out and closes it self. After the game closes i get a pop up which is shown below. Please tell me how i can fix this problem.

What video card do you have?

Try reinstalling DX9c or DX10.

How do i check what type of vid card i have?

i am not good with pcs

You don't have to uninstall it. You could've just downloaded the newer direct X and just click install. It would just update itself...
