[poll] Pc parts... what?

All right, I am having a hard time picking a motherboard to go with a AMD Phenom 9850 Blk edition and XFX 9600gt GDDR3 512mb XXX edition. I really want a Sli motherboard but none support phenom and are under $300. I think the MSI K9A2 Platinum Motherboard (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3489726&CatId=3504)
Would crossing Nvidia cards with a ATI motherboard cause some lag or no?

I am thinking of just utting a nvidia 9800GTX to replace ,mine istead of a Case, fan and X-fi xtremegamer sound.. any thoughts? (card is $260 other stuff is $204)

I still say go with ASUSteck for the mobo. It has a very good reliability considering most pcs that run ASUS dont suffer from mobos getting fried. (mobo = motherboard )
