[moved] Lag issue

The past few days I have noticed that there has been some lag here and there on the dust2 server. anyone else have this issue?

yeah i got that too... i read something on how to get a better ping i will post how to do it on a thread... but its not you its the server...

There isn't a way to get "better ping" There is ways to lower your ping, as stopping all downloads + improving connection...

i have lag but i have an excuse, its called an aircard thats 1.5 miles away from the tower which results in a 250-300 ms ping which is totally fake cause when i do speed tests on many sites it comes out to ~150 ms... i think im being lied to, but i dont know who by

When you do a Ping test you are connecting to a certain server , and the Ping is the Time in MS it takes for soemthing to be sent to the server ,then back again, so when you get 250-300 Ping in CSS its taking you 250-300 MS to send a connection to the server, and for you to receive it back, no one is lieing to you.
