RGB Lighting

Hey yall! I was wondering if any of you have RGB lighting strips in your gaming environment. If you do, do you recommend them? If so, which ones do you use?

I just got the cheapo ikea ones, they were sick at first, but I don't find myself really using them lol

Any of them will really work for you, honestly. Unless you want something fancy that changes colours with a remote or anything, just get ones that are the right size you want, etc. Are you just trying to light it up a bit and have them on all the time?

I know Corsair has some expensive stuff you can control with software. Actually my case came with it for the fans, however I ended up just leaving it White or something. I don't really notice it much since it sits under my desk.

I highly recommend them! I like them near my monitor so my eyes don't get super strained by just looking at a bright white screen all night. Keeps it lit up and I believe it is proven that having back lights makes it easier on your eyes.

Did the same with my TV actually since that part of the rooms a bit dark. It’s great.

I made the fatal mistake of incorporating my keyboard, mouse, and PC/fans with RGB lighting.

Horrible decision for someone who prefers the dark, but my wife loves to make it look like a fuckin' rainbow in here..So..There's that, I guess.

Lea(f) Personally i do corsair, because icue matches everything together, but i currently got a frankenstein of Corsair and thermaltake. but go with all the same brand if possible. makes it the easiest to match up together.

A brand called govee has some cool rgb strips, they also offer an app for there rgb strips and they work with amazon alexa and google home.

I’m going to go against the grain and say that they aren’t worth it, at least for me. I much prefer a nice lamp or a well lit room instead of feeling like the shadows are closing in. But some people love RGB, it’s easy to setup so go crazy!
