My name is Civic, come from Minecraft. I have been in the servers for a bit now but made my forum account somewhat recently. I play tons of games ranging from Among Us to horror games, mmorpgs, and Counter Strike. I'm 19, and a student of psychology at the University of Illinois, Hope to see you all around.

Certainly take up as much responsibility as you can. Right now, we're a lot less busy than we used to be and when it comes to happiness, two of the biggest predictors are responsibility and schedule. If you're eating and gaming all day, then for one you're living the life but for two that takes a toll on anyone's mental health overtime. Try reading, picking up a new skill, or raise some chickens in your backyard. Anything new that you can incorporate into your day that requires self discipline is going to make you feel better at the end of the day. Keep a journal of these crazy current events.

With this said, there's no answer for definitive mental health answer because everyone experiences it differently. There are countless ways to improve your mental health but it all starts with you motivating yourself enough to address it and that's the hardest part.

If anyone would ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here to talk and I do understand what you are going through. I fought depression through highschool and it is the reason why I pursued psychology.

Totally agree. Motivating yourself is probably the hardest part of depression. Just getting up in the morning can be a drag. I agree with your solutions, too. I'm working on finding new hobbies and things around my campus and at home! Ledzo Ledzo
